The lawyers of our firm have solid experience in health law. Our organization represents only health professionals and medical clinics in this area of law. The mandates we are entrusted to carry out are highly varied and we are regularly solicited to represent our clients before the regular courts, the administrative tribunals and quasi-judicial bodies.

We assist physicians not only in civil actions, but also when they face disciplinary complaints. Our services include legal assistance provided as part of investigations led by the Collège des médecins du Québec or the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec.

We also advise our clients who raise questions about their rights and obligations resulting from the provisions in the Act respecting health services and social services and the applicable regulations. We regularly answer questions of physicians concerning their status and privileges in connection with their practice.

Me Christine Kark, founding partner of the firm, developed her experience in health law by representing, over the course of her career, physician members of the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), since she practiced for many years in the medical litigation group of the firm McCarthy Tétrault, before founding her own firm in 2009.
